Easy right, well not quite so.  The distinction between poetic and neurotic is seemingly as fine a line as that between confidence and arrogance.

I was probably the Dutch in me doing math…$40 / 9 hours = almost free (at least in the race world) and it came with a T-shirt!

Got on the road and then stopped abruptly as we were in serious need of more coffee. We had a itinerary, maps and potential places to stay…all of which were forgotten at home… it was time to boogie!

This trip almost was too easy of a sell to my lovely wife, one week away leaving her with a 5 ½ month old puppy with no car!
